TypeMatch Privacy Policy

This is the hosted copy of the privacy policy that ships inside the TypeMatch app. The two say the same thing — the policy is also readable in the app itself, without a network connection.

The short version

TypeMatch does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no network connection.

What is collected

Nothing. TypeMatch has no sign-in, no account system, and no forms. It never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any device or advertising identifier, and it requests no system permissions.

Network activity

None. The complete type chart is bundled inside the app, so TypeMatch makes no network requests while it runs. Nothing you tap in the app leaves your device, because no information is ever sent to anywhere.

Analytics, advertising, and third-party code

TypeMatch contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind. No third party receives any data from this app, so there is no third-party handling of your data.

Data stored on your device

TypeMatch stores no user data on your device. Which types you look at is not recorded and does not persist between launches.

Retention, deletion, and consent

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing retained, nothing to request the deletion of, and no consent to data processing to give or withdraw. Deleting the app removes it and everything belonging to it from your device.

Children

TypeMatch collects no data from anyone, at any age. It does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children.

The app stores themselves

Apple and Google collect their own data about app downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies. That collection is theirs, not TypeMatch’s. The developer receives only aggregate sales and download reports, which do not identify individual users.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of TypeMatch ever changes what it collects, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures will be updated to match.
